Archery range opens in Wall


A brand new archery range was unveiled in Wall.

A Wall economic development committee began the project about a year ago.

The Pennington/Jackson County Farm Bureau teamed up with the State Farm Bureau to fund the $10,000 archery range.

This year is the State Farm Bureau’s 100th anniversary. In honor of that, they are awarding grants for about 20 different projects across South Dakota.

“We said think big,” said South Dakota Farm Bureau President Scott VanderWal. “Don’t just do little things like signs on swimming pools, and things like that. Make it bigger. And so that’s what they did and we’ve got several different, really nice projects around the state. And we’re happy to be here to dedicate this project here at Wall…
